My friend Sachi made this for me as a gift/request. I like his art style a lot and was pleased to see my character rendered in it. Something I appreciate about this portrait that I don't believe I told him the day I received it: I like how high up he drew her "glove" and "sock" markings. I wanted them to look regal when I was designing her, a bit princess-like, but also down-to-earth, like priceless silk gloves paired with a $3 pair of cotton socks, and it's wonderful that he got the vision.

Fun fact: Pancakes is ordinarily bottomless, as I wanted to imbue her with a casual, "just rose out of bed and is wandering around the house in her pajamas before really starting her day, but this is her day" kind of vibe, but Sachi, for a change, gave her a cute pair of shorts with a matching, patterned belt, which I appreciated. I didn't even ask him to give her an alternate wardrobe! He has a great gift of insight. He even gave me permission to use the shorts and belt in future artwork, which is like another gift on top of my gift. He's a terrific friend, and I'm grateful for his company. I was sure to thank him up and down numerous times when I got the artwork, but one more time, I just want to say thanks to him.
