this was me yesterday!

I live in Portland, OR. In the cities it's strange because it's become harder and harder to get good fireworks and get away with setting them off.

The city's cracked down on illegal fireworks and makes more of them illegal each year. My family didn't do fireworks but we had a nice BBQ. They're expensive too, I'd hunt for M-80s now that things are on sale but I don't really have the extra cash for it and they don't sell those anymore. So I just drew a nice sketch instead expressing my love of explosives. =OP

in michigan, if its cool, its prolly illegal! So I drive 2.5 hours to Ohio. the neighbors FEAR me.

Hehe, my boyfriend's from Upper Peninsula Michigan. Apparently copper harbor has the best display around there and that's not saying much.

Copper Harbor? thats Faaaaar away! I live near Flint. and Saginaw has the state's best, IMHO btw, does he " 'ave ehn eccent, eh?"

He's lived all over, strangely enough, not really much of an accent but he can turn it on and off as he wishes. He does voices and impressions though so it's hard to tell what's natural and what's not.

On the other hand, between him and all the Vancouver area furs I know and other various Canadian furs I've been picking up some of the mannerisms mostly.

Michiganians have accents, no matter where they're from. especially northward...

I'm sorta hit or miss on SL these days though usually I'm on in afternoons and evenings Pacific since I've been getting up late of late. I haven't found a good system to keep track of people that I want to meet up with in SL. Best seems to be IM me with where I know you from and under what name. Whether I'm on or not and I'll see it when I get on and put it in my action file note card and come track you down when I get on or drop a return IM, I'll be getting on soon actually.

evenings dont always work for me...I have a few other Furends who are on, I need to know how to get the otter skin/tail etc. More importantly, how to make Linden$ to get such attire...*whines*

I made my own skin and bodyparts (avatar) but I know where you can get otter avatars. L$ have to be purchased these days with real money now through the SecondLife website. There's some things people do to make money but I can't tell you much about that because I don't make money on SL.

Hey, that's what *I* used to do for a living on SL back when people had plenty of pocket change. L$ flowed freely back then. L$ trade at like US$4 per L$1000 so an avatar is like about $3-5 US. I won't "escort" for cash though I did used to dance.

Im screwed cuz I dont have a Credit card, never needed one,( untill now of course) and if you wonder why im talking to you now/on FA and not on SL, im on my PSP. *sighs* I got all summer to look like the otter boytoy I wanna look like...would digigrade go well with otterness on SL's graphics? im guessin no

Hehe, my av's representative of a couple years of off and on revision. I'm good at it but not fast or efficient at it so I really don't take commissions or sell them. For the amount of time and energy they require I need to be personally interested in the project and in most cases want a fair trade. I made it mostly so that I'd have an otter that wasn't something that everyone could buy so I wouldn't look like everyone else. As such, they're personal one of a kind kinda things.

As for the av in question that's $250 it's the one that I started with and customized to the point that I could made my own and think it's cuter then the more popular and more expensive one on the market plus it was done by a friend of mine too. $250 isn't really a whole lot to me honestly I just can't give out cash to everyone that I meet anymore is all but I can set you up with an av.
