Hello! I saw a few other folks doing this kind of thing, so I figured it might be nice to have a full 'about me' post.

My name is Wheat, and I create a variety of artwork. I love leaning into horror and surrealism, but sometimes I like drawing cutesy stuff and fanart. I take major inspiration from H.R. Giger and Mark Powell for my grotesque creatures. The majority of my horror and gore artwork attempts to communicate my personal struggles with mental illness and the world around me. (As you may be able to tell) I am not very good with words, so I use my art as my primary form of expression. I'm a queer artist who lives with OCD, anxiety, depression, and Autism Spectrum Disorder. These aspects of myself frequently show up in my artwork. I hope that others can not only connect with my art, but also find pieces of themselves in it.

As I expressed previously, communication is not my strong suit. I am greatly appreciative of all comments, faves, and watches, but I will not leave any messages on profiles and I often do not reply to comments. I promise that I am not trying to be rude.
