How come, is it humid enough to make them rust faster? I know Peugot cars don't like the Dutch climate much, because their wiring tends to rust in the humid climate, is it something like that?

Something like that. Although I think we've largely stopped dumping salt on the roads in winter, now.

Yeah salt is the real killer.

Out here in Canada most all the provinces like to salt the hell out of the roads, so you the oldest cars you see are early 2000's But in BC (the west coast) we hardly use salt, so you see TONS of cars from the late 70's all the way up to modern cars. I myself own a 1978 Ford RV (rusty but very sturdy) and me and my mate both own 93 Civic hatch backs (some rust, but great shape for being nearly 20 years old)

Classic cars.. haha come out here in the summer, you will see enough 60s mustangs that you will get BORED of them XD (they are the easiest old car to come across) we actually even got a few cars from the 20s out here that actually work, hell even seen a few model T's, all collector owned and hardly driven cause they cant even reach highway speeds, but still lol

I have seen a GOOD number of cars like that, though I am not enough of a antique car buff to really tell them apart ^.=.^;

I find it interesting that the blue truck has the license plate R 553, and the red car has the license plate R 5531 (or I). But I'm odd that way.

It's an early 50s Oldsmobile.

Iceland's climate isn';t any worse than Michigan. Most people put their toys away when the snow flies. It keeps the salt off them.
