I once had one of those. It was a prop in Oliver Twisted, and my character (Oliver Twisted) received a great big lollipop near the end of the play. We left the wrapper on and painted it black and grey.
Interestingly, I made a promise with one of the players to share it with him. After our last performance, I discovered the lollipop had broken into several pieces, held together only by the wrapping. That settled the question of how to give him a piece of my candy. :)
