There once was a Pelly named Patrick,
Who pulled some St. Paddy’s Day magic,
He spiked beer with potion,
And caused a commotion,
Turned his guests into pelicans quick! ☘️
I've always seen Pelicans as Irish birds for some reason. Maybe it's because of their association with the sea. Maybe it's because their bills could hold a lot of beer. Whatever the reason, I was lead to create Patrick Pelican in late 2018 as my second-ever OC and he's stuck with me since. I've been wanting to do a St. Patrick's Day Pelican TF group commission for a while, and I figured that 2026 was the year to do it, since St. Patrick's Day is on a TF Tuesday this year! Unfortunately however, a lot of us didn't have the money for the artist we wanted. But then I realized that I'm an artist taking commissions, so I took it on! Due to the outrageous nature of this cartoon, I decided to make it a parody of Kelly's comics for The Onion. Hence why yours truly is in the bottom corner, making a punny comment.
