You might know, if I'm not painting Master Tigress, it's usually some scene from Zootopia or something from Indiana Jones. That's just how it is. This time, it was Zootopia's turn onace again, or more precisely, an iconic scene I'd been wanting to tackle for a long time: Gazelle and her background dancing tigers.

Even though I had no idea how to depict the scene or how I was even going to manage five characters, one thing became clear quickly: instead of tigers, cheetahs would be prancing around Gazelle, since I prefer painting cheetahs over tigers and, symbolically speaking, they're a way better match for a gazelle.

The result is a performance, somewhere between choreography and some serious advances. Whatever it is, I really put a lot of effort into it because I simply wanted the scene to work.

The same went for the coloring. I experimented with different gradients and colors in Photoshop for the rather sparse clothing to see how it could turn out. This opportunity revealed some missing details in the sketch, things I usually notice when it's too late. In short: You can see the result below, because I can't really say much more, as this piece easily makes my top three. I'm really happy with it.
