If anyone is wondering about the outfit, it is my understanding that it's authentic or at least plausible for the year 1600. It's not exactly 1:1, but arranged to communicate modesty. I think that it would be considered unfashionable by the middle and upper classes of the time, and non-standard by the lower classes.
Researching the outfit was a bit challenging because there is a lot of temporal and nomenclative overlapping. But it's fantasy, so it only needs to be plausible :)
