Team number eleven is the Neighbors! This is the one team made up of two characters of widely different ages, though as their team name imply, they're next-door neighbors.

Nancy Tome is a librarian who works at a middle school. She absolutely loves being around children, teaching them and giving them knowledge around the world. She's also been married a lot over the years. She used to be a teacher before she became a librarian. Nancy was convinced to go to the race because she's convinced this will be a learning opportunity to learn about various countries around the world.

Kendrick is Nancy's next-door neighbor. He's a young mechanic who also happens to have been one of Nancy's students when he was in middle school. Kendrick has had a massive crush on Nancy and convinced her to be part of the race as a secret way to try and go out with her.
