Oh Nostradamus, or "Nostradams" as I called him in-game since I didn't have enough space to write it properly. He is more important to the story I made for this Nuzlocke than during the actual game. He's my calm, but quick-to-flee hoohoot; he's a mystery of a bird. Noctowl is one of my favorite Pokémon, and it was part of my team the very first time I ever played Pokémon when I was little, so if I couldn't make it work in my team, I at least wanted to do something special with it in my story. That being said, he was indispensable in the first 2 gyms, so even though he isn't on the team anymore, he was still important for the run.

Backstory
Nostradamus was a wild hoothoot, and just like most wild Pokémon, he is a mish-mash of different Pokémon species. It's hard to tell what his parents or grandparents were, a bit of natu here or a bit of pidgey there doesn't change the fact he's a hoothoot. But unlike most of his flock, he always had a certain... strange, wise-beyond-his-years sort of vibe, being more calculating and seeming smarter than those around him. Whatever genes were swimming in that melting pot of a hoothoot, it somehow gave him the ability to see the future. sort of. Nostradamus gets visions of the most probable futures to come, but can struggle to interpret the visions he gets.
Nostradamus left his flock and joined the team because he saw Magnus in a vision and interpreted that, together, they would achieve great things. Nostradamus is pretty simple in his motives and philosophy; his visions guide him, and he goes with the flow no matter what. Even if in the future he can't battle anymore, he'll remain as an advisor and comforting companion to his trainer, or, as he usually refers to Magnus as, his "good fellow". And fun fact! by using his visions, Magnus managed to win enough money at the price corner in Goldenrod to get Yotsuha!
