Play a game made by me! In the year of the Dragon I have released the final version of Dragonaroid, which is available on my itch.io here:
https://zhaolong.itch.io/dragonaroid
It's free and runs in the browser, based on the Godot engine, and can even run on older OpenGL versions. You can either be a fire-spewing Dragon or pilot a spaceship with Dragon powers, making the player more effective than in typical Asteroids-type games.
As of this submission, this is the first and only game I have uploaded to the site. I plan to add more games on my page here:

I have been editing computer games before I could even read and have always held an interest in game development. Over the years I have made hundreds of levels of existing games and have developed dozens of new games myself. My older work consisted of Win32 games in C++, and flash games.
I was even one of those people who made games in Klik & Play if anyone remembers that!
I started looking into Unity as an engine for my work in 2017 or 2018, and became serious about developing games in the engine as early as 2019. However, the controversy of Unity's CEO insulting game devs who declined to ruin their game with awful monetization reduced my interest. When they decided to charge per install, I decided my interest in using their engine was finally dead. It is a shame, too, because that engine would have been really great for a lot of indie creators.
Currently I have put in over a thousand hours working on a massive RPG project starring a Dragon, but I realize it will be years before it can be complete. Since I am doing all of the art for the RPG game, there is no way that I can get it out soon.
While this game is free to play, I hope to release some games to commercial success enough so that I can switch my field of work. I wanted to be a game dev originally, but knew that the industry was too volatile, low-paying, and abusive for it to be a viable option.
My hope is to create games with unique protagonists, especially with unfairly-maligned species like Dragons, underused species like pterosaurs, griffins, or raptors, and to have engaging story lines and cohesive graphics while not sacrificing gameplay. TF themes will be present in some games but not all of them.
While it is too early to switch fields of work, here is a small taste of what I've made in game development.
