Haiden-Katches are another civilisation building animal in the Superstructure, however they are much different to most other flesh machines like in how they have no Abdomen and different sexes instead of being hermaphrodites, this is because they have a significant amount of human dna inside them. This also allows them to access the Superstructure systems (if they still function) much easier than most animals.

Larger Sküpoi nations have only recently encountered Haiden-Katches, interactions, if rare are usually peaceful as Haiden-Katches are small in numbers and usally avoid Sküpoi as a precaution.
