"Here we have Iris Ironhide, a gryphon motorcycle cop, heading out to her mount on a blazing hot summer day. How she's coping with that heat in those heavy boots, leather jacket and ballistic vest over her uniform is anyone's guess.
Must be a cop thing.
In any case, we see her striding across the asphalt parking lot when she unknowingly steps into a soft spot. A really soft spot. One that was filled with mostly tar it seems. Because Iris' motion rather quickly turned from horizontal to vertical as the gummy ooze traps her leading boot. She manages to free it with great effort, only to notice her trailing foot is rapidly sinking into an even hotter patch of tar. A patch of tar that is so hot it's bubbling and releasing vapors of unknown origin. There might even be flame coming out of it, but she didn't list that in the report. All she knows is if she doesn't get out of the sticky situation pronto, her boots won't be the only thing cooking today, as her alarmed expression and the thoughts flashing through her head no doubt express."
