Art Journal of March 18th, 2026
Greetings watchers and friends. I hope all of you are well.
I really shouldn't be making this, but I felt I had no other choice. This is how I will be handling journals for now on.
As I feel like this is the ONLY way to get your attention...
Small Vent
Take this with a grain of salt.
As I stated, I really shouldn't be making this. I really shouldn't. There's a reason why journals exists.
However, whenever I do make journals I feel as if people turn the other cheek. Even if its a vent or a cry for help. Either people see my journal and ignore it or be like "ehhh.... when is the next comic page?" Personally, I'm quite sick of it and I'm hurt. Do I truly need to be really famous in order for everyone to listen? I don't think so.
This doesn't just go for me, it goes for everybody. Famous or not, I encourage you to please PLEASE read your journals. You may never know if someone's crying for help or in a emergency.
Commissions with a Reason
I have been considering to start art commissions quite possibly in the near future! Not that I want to, but it’s to a point where I have to.
You see, the jobs that I work are seasonal jobs. Where I currently live is entirely dependent tourists. When the winter or summer season is gone, so does my revenue. With a month and a half between seasons. In this case, it means I have a lot of time, but hardly enough dough to keep myself going for about a month and a half. In other words, I’m constantly digging into my savings to survive shoulder seasons. Despite having a pizza joint I could fall back to.
I haven’t done commissions, because I believe my art style is not complete. I want to improve my art style so that way I can sell a complete product. However, just making this journal reminds me that art style comes with time.
I have no official commission sheet yet, nor for pricing. It’ll be simple and less complex comms, since this would be my first time. It won’t five stars, but it’s what I can serve.
