Roomie got a huge bag of bread that's really good so I've been making these simple sandwiches with kirkland precooked bacon, string cheese, and subway garlic aioli
Heat oven to 350
Cut bread in half, spread aioli on both sides. Stack horizontally on one side some split mozzarella sticks (I only needed 1 per sandwich in 3 strips), on the other side add bacon.
Put in oven for 10 minutes
Once out of oven, add mayo, trader joe's everyday seasoning or salt and pepper, and sprinkle on some parmesan. Put halves together and bam, delicious sandwich
Thoughts: I really like these, they taste almost professional and I think that's in part due to the bread. I wish we knew where the bread came from, it was a free donation.
From Chris: There are still a few things you can do to get this sandwich to the next level-
~ Rub RAW GARLIC on the toasted bread. Its a Jamie Oliver trick and it works.
~ Once BACON is fried (or baked) if there is any BACON oil left over, mix that in with the aioli. (You'll only need a teaspoon to give it that "kiss", no need to go overboard.)
~ If available, add a fresh tomato and lettuce, you get a -great- BLT.
