Most who know Gally are familiar with the knight he is today: a noble Gallade who serves with pride and conviction. But before he earned that title, he was just another student. And before that, before the discipline, and the blade, he was a much smaller Kirlia... and a troublesome one at that.
In his youth, Gally was marked by overconfidence, relying on trickery and illusion to win his spars. A little menace, he would even challenge mentors far beyond his league, convinced of his own brilliance. It took many humbling defeats before that arrogance began to fade.
In time, Gally chose to evolve not just in form, but in spirit. He became a Gallade, devoting himself to true strength, fair combat, and compassion for others.
We recently enjoyed Gardevoir Day, and plenty of artists shared their love for the whole evolution line. This was a great chance to depict Gally in his younger years.
