Every year I try to get a piece of Sam by Caribou that moves the character forward, usually by giving her a new tattoo. Moving into 2026, the idea came of updating her look a bit, bringing a more mature look to her and a new hairstyle. So here we have Sam, a little older, maybe wiser, far from her impetuous youth. She's here with her beloved car, a Chevy 1967 Impala with the license plate 'SAMNMAX'. The warmth colours of dusk, and the casual pose bring the piece to life, and the question on her lips is of course 'Go for a ride?'
