When Achenar Debuine got adopted by former chief of police, Harold Bremingham, his life turned over a new leaf. Achenar had been raised in a drug-ridden, debauchery-rich, crime-infested area of Zabokar. He grew up and hung out with the wrong crowds. He watched his family die, his brothers killed off one by one by unfortunate but preventable circumstances. Harold's strict, but still caring parenting inspired Achenar to want to be a better person. Harold was rough, but not without reason. Achenar flipped his outlook and wanted to be like Harold when he became a full adult and struck out on his own. It was a model of leadership he aspired to. To that end, he focused on himself and his personal health. Every morning, he'd head out into the city of Xengpoi, now their new home of residence in Livarnu, and hit the streets. He followed the daily regime Harold used to do to keep in shape for a job he no longer held. He wanted to be the son Harold could be proud of - even if they were from two different families. He wanted to be fit, strong and capable of defending his new family, to include his younger adopted sister, Moira, from anything that would harm it.
