A scene inspired by an incident that happened in my childhood. One time when riding a bicycle, I fell and hurt my knee, which was very painful and scary, and when I came home to a family member to ask for comfort and reassurance, I got none. I haven't ridden a bike ever since, because that killed all the motivation I had. In this drawing I imagined what it would be like to actually get some comfort and support in that moment.

A digital artwork depicting two kids sitting on the ground. The kid on the left, a winged goat-like demon, is crying, while the one on the right, a wolf-headed fairy, is applying a bandaid to their knee. Behind the goat kid is an orange bicycle lying on its side. The goat kid is dressed in orange shorts and a blue t-shirt with white flower pattern, while the wolf fairy is dressed in a greyish-biege dress and white cloak held by a bronze clasp shaped like a beetle.

Oh what an awful experience :( I can definatly relate. And it kts a bit comforting seeing these kids take care of each other at least 8w8
Edit: ai also really appreciate that one of the kids is a demon. Its nice to see a being thats usually equated to evil, violence, and such being presented as a vulnerable vhild worthy of and recieving love. It feels healing 8w8

Thank you ^^
The demon kid is actually my fursona, Morlekh. I simply find demons relatable, as a queer person, due to being demonized and dehumanized in real life. So adopting demonic imagery and identifying with it is for me both an act of rebellion and a way of reclaiming it. And as you said, it is a healing experience to see such creatures being shown as worthy of love.
