There's this one piece by 
Munks about how the Punch cat is gonna fight God that I just really like and kinda used as inspiration for this.
The other inspiration was Infinite Papercuts but we're not ready to talk about that.
Of my many characters, Metall is definitely one that wants to fight God. Orthodox God especially.
