Asheru's Journey Part 2 Page 7
People have been asking about the back story for Asheru and My lupines. So far I haven't posted it, as they stories were collected in the 'Zine "Huzzah!" which ceased publication in 2003. I do not have any of the original digital files, so I deferred posting anything. But since coming to FA, I have recieved numerous requests, I decided I could probably post scans of the original Zine pages, One may recognize some of the original images in my old Yerf Archive. others in ArtSpots but many were sketch and only appeared as spot .
This is the second part that appeared in Huzzah! #44 (the 9/11 issue) Ten years ago this month. Thanks to

Well even in snowy climes the barbarians didn't wear much, they just grew more fur, getting shaggier and fluffier. There's a sketch showing the difference in Asheru's summer and winter coat. But the farther north the lupines are, the lighter their color and the larger their frame, so they get to be very tall and about equal to humans on average in the strength department
The group needs to get information from the Imperial military commander, So they go off to headquarters to get it. The bottom picture is in a waiting room and Asheru is standing uncomfortably next to a commemorative statue. The Old Scholar thinks she is cold. This is but one page of an unfinished illustrated story.
