Edwin, an anthropomorphic jackrabbit, is wearing a business casual outfit and has a grumpy expression on his face. He gives job searching tips by speaking directly to the reader using a dialogue bubble. Edwin says,
"'Tell me about yourself' is almost always the first question in an interview, sometime across interviews. Be prepared! Write down and practice your story. Adjust your story to highlight things they noted in the job posting. Do not stumble when answering the first question. That looks bad."

It might be different regions and different industries, but when I was job hunting in entry level office stuff in USA, the first two questions were almost always "why did you apply for this position?" followed by "when have you done [this type of work] before?" That second one is easy and straightforward, but going from interview to interview, I absolutely had to lock in a speech for versions of that first question.
You know and I know that the answer is "because you will give me money, and money can be exchanged for goods and services, I need goods and services," but if it's a promising position and it'll get my foot in the door to say that I was excited to see such an excellent prospect for my passions/career goals/lifestyle/whatever they're fishing for, then hey.
