The first stage is wondering. The person in question will move about in the world based on the circumstances of their birth. They will meet many people and have many experiences



The second stage is hurt. Something happens demonstrating the falsity of appearances. Many people do not move outside this shocking occurrence



The third stage is daydreaming. The person seeks a fantasy world to rebuild their life in. They'll dabble in the occult, experiment with alternate lifestyles, start a band, ect. They'll essentially become a "Cool kid"



The fourth stage is shock. The person discovers that there are great possibilities outside the life they currently lead. There are many ways one can come to this conclusion, gnosis being one of them. This is a time of great danger for the individual, as they now know that the world does not function the way mainstream society would have you believe. Those stuck at this level of shock tear at the social fabric



The fifth is school. To further their knowledge on the revelation they have achieved



The sixth stage is shock. Where it is learned that their teachers are, in the long run, human like they are



The seventh stage is work. Working on one's craft. And when someone masters their craft, they become a master of their will
