This picture wasn't taken on purpose.
It's one of 100's that sometimes get snapped in between different photoshoots (I'm actually in the process of changing outfits here...)
Usually they are unremarkable or unusable... and passed over to "get to the good ones!"
This one I love though, it's actually one of my favorite pictures. It seems to have such a heavy energy of intimidation and challenge.
The hidden stare seems so dire, such a narrowed eye, an aggressive stance... the messy room. I think it says a lot more than a picture that is prepared for.
I have never seen myself make an expression quite like this, and I haven't seen it since.
Part of modeling and photography is learning the angles which you appeal from, and how you look like through someone else's eyes. Consistency is key, as they say.
In this case, this angle is one I'd really never tried or thought about, and to replicate it just so... would be nearly impossible.
