The Sun Spirit for my Aurora Beasts world! Grandma <3. She doesn't have a name, but I kind of like that. She'd probably have a large variety of them all over the world!

I have quite the backlog of references. I swear I'll make non-reference art soon and upload it, I'm just full of character ideas. In the meantime, here's a little bit about Sun Spirits for those curious:

Sun spirits maintain and are maintained in turn by the life they cause to flourish. So long as a single living thing relies on them, they cannot die. Only when all life orbiting them perishes will they become a Star spirit again and begin to age as normal.
Some Star spirits find this a very appealing duty, but those who wish for the job only for longevity are never given the chance. It is a great honour and duty to maintain life, and one must be chosen by The Wənsol (Originator of All) to do so.
