Sonic the Hedgehog was an early influence of mine. Started with the Game Gear games, and SatAM. Also was subscribed to the comic book for almost 10 years, starting around issue 14, and have some earlier than that! The original subscription ad I clipped out had an ad for "The Santa Clause" on the back.

I've detailed before how a lot of the themes there carried on later in my interests.

A few weeks ago Shiro did random Mobian style sketches of people in stream and I was lucky enough to score this one! Great stuff! The full collection starts here.
