Heh, I’m not much of a photographer. Last Borderlands weapon model for a while. I’ve built the two I planned to and now want to go back to making other models.
This is as close to finishing as this model will get for a while. The barrel does not stick well to the main body and is very flimsy not to mention completely crooked. The stock also has trouble staying attached even with tons of glue. The future plan is to remove the spacing block between and have the stock attached directly to the body. I also did not paint the scratch as I did on the revolver. I thought it will give it a nice worn look, but was convinced by others to leave it as is, for now.
I think this is the longest model I have ever built, measuring just over 1.6 meters, it’s HUGE! It was an intensive two weeks of finding time and building, but I finished it right on my deadline (I planned to bring it to a convention, but it proved too impractical. Oh well). And a little thanks to my younger brother who helped me out a bit on this. ;)
Also some shameless advertising! I am holding a sort of “contest” (but not quite) in my latest journal. Basically you nominate someone and I may choose to build a papercraft of their character. Go participate, be you long time watchers, or just checking me out for the first time! :D

Thanks, it is a pleasure to please! :D Sadly it can really only go down from here; this really is quite a pinnacle of my recent work.
And my streams are of the model design phase. Trying to stream myself assembling and painting a giant such as this would be more disorganized and embarrassing than usual. However, I will try to stream when I design the model for that ‘contest’ of mine. We shall see!

Wow, it’s taller than the average person! How do you carry that thing around? That rifle is quite an interesting piece of weaponry. :O
To be honest, I don’t really intend to build modern weapons (hence the fictitious weapons with bright colour I build). Less of a chance I might scare the locals if I bring it out into the open, haha ;).
