Introducing three new cast members to the tale of a band of demons who stumbled into heroism! Ladies, gentlemen, and others, meet Midori Kumigawa, Aoboshi Nojima, and Nagumo Ohba!
Midori Kumigawa is a character I've had for a while now, but one thing has remained constant: she is Tora Nojima's significant other! Now repurposed for this new story, she is one of Tora's closest classmates and the closest thing he has to a friend in Aurora City. When she learns that Tora has taken in a band of demons, she immediately becomes concerned for his safety as she has a strong distrust of demons and devils. Midori hopes that he won't take up the family business of Devil Hunting and just settle for a normal life; however, she becomes more accepting of them once she learns the truth about Tora's overtures to The Seven Heroes...
Aoboshi Nojima is another character that I've had for a while; in fact, you probably know him as "Adult Chubby!Tora Nojima"! Yeah, I've decided to add him into the story as Tora's surrogate guardian when his father is away on missions. Aoboshi is a rather laid-back individual, one who'd rather not work too hard and values living life to the fullest. While initially taken aback by Tora's decision to take in seven demonic outcasts, he quickly decides to just roll with it as it's a part of the contract between himself and his brother to ensure Tora had someone strong enough to protect him when he can't. He also follows the anime trope of having his eyes closed constantly, but here, it's to conceal a secret from his own days as a Devil Hunter...
Nagumo Ohba is a character completely new to the Qwertyuioppas Multiverse and one freshly created for this tale! A lecherous, gluttonous loser, he too is one of Tora's classmates and perhaps the only one who shows any interest in his family history of Devil Hunting. When not fawning over the numerous tales of the exploits of Tora's family, he spends his time either peeping on girls or stuffing his face on snacks. He immediately takes a liking to The Seven Heroes once Tora introduces them, becoming especially fond of Magnus to the point of becoming his #1 fanboy much to the deabestia's chagrin...
So now at 13 major and supporting characters, it's looking like the cast of "The Seven Heroes of Hell" is more or less finalized. Of course, this isn't counting potential minor characters made to flesh the story out some, but that's a problem for future me to worry about!
Now... ON TO DRAFTING!!!
