This is a new character concept I'm currently working on for my personal story universe called Barrio Las Alondras.
For a while now I've been writing small stories set in this neighborhood, where different anthropomorphic characters live, interact, and end up creating all kinds of situations together. Some moments are wholesome and everyday life, while others lean more into playful or spicy situations depending on the story.
This character is Gloria “Glo” Benítez, one of the residents of Las Alondras.
She’s designed as a confident, cheerful cow girl with a very relaxed and friendly personality. Glo is the kind of person who knows almost everyone in the neighborhood. She enjoys chatting, joking around, and generally bringing a lively energy wherever she goes.
In this character sheet I included:
• Front view of the character
• Back view of the outfit and body shape
• A close-up of the face
• General proportions and design elements
The design is still a work in progress (WIP), but I wanted to share the process before finishing all the details. I’m still experimenting with small adjustments and may add more elements later.
Gloria is part of the larger Barrio Las Alondras universe, where several other characters already exist and interact with each other in different stories. My plan is to continue drawing more residents of the neighborhood as I expand the project.
