HES JUST A BABY :(

On one hand, he is rather tragic, as he was just trying to fulfill his purpose. On the other hand, other NPCs like Gummigoo showed the capacity to grow and change beyond that, but Caine...he just dug his heels into the ground, refused to listen in the name of trying to be perfect out of his fear of being outshined by any other program (like Abel, the second program), and...well...here we are.

I can't bring myself to completely hate him or even be entirely happy he's gone like some others, but I feel like by the time we reached that final scene of him torturing everyone with their own traumas and insecurities, he may have been too far gone to be saved... :c

Tragic, indeed.
