[2:42 PM]: Floor 20, museum floor, health readings picked up on an ailment affecting all of us. Something here is resulting in a floor wide illness. Continuing with caution. Agent Bylmae almost had his primary seized by the blackened hand of another twisted enemy terminated by agent Yanna. Discovered more potentially stolen objects within, neglected due to the likelihood of being tainted. Discovered the source, their lower body grotesquely mutated into a primal shape... gross... their speed was concerning, but not of immediate threat. Enemy avoided, proceeding further down.
[3:19 PM]: Floor 22, industrial floor, power surge knocked out the lights on this floor, night vision activated. Damnit... Agent Rontel was further injured by a surprise attack from a ferocious twisted, mannerisms akin to a dog. Enemy terminated, though not without difficulty. Agent Rontel's condition is not lethal, lacerations and bites to the left torso and arm that slightly pushed through the armor, applied stim injection and pain reducers. Advised they remain as a backliner, continuing with further caution, mercy is a luxury we do not have.
[4:52 PM]: Floor 23 - 28, more floors, no target found, danger is becoming more apparent, multiple enemies terminated. Injuries minimal but Agent Yanna was scuffed from a physical brawl with an angry shrimp on floor 27. surprised by what he can dish out with just his fists. More survivors hiding or trying to flee, assisted within protocol and sent them on their way... Poor fellas, but why are they wandering so far down?
[5:13 PM]: Floor 29, Another library, target signature detected, we're almost there. However, Twisted population is ballooning, 7 were identified, 4 currently terminated; another robot, tissue box, a grabby one that latched onto me for a moment and attempted to pull me, round blue one. Target spotted, twisted, like all of the others. Readings are being distorted, corruption readings are high, too much for my mobile equipment to read as of now. Set weapons to stun, can't risk anything, Yanna, Bylmae, and Zunn neutralize or terminate any remaining threats on this floor. The rest stick close. Prepare for extraction phase.
[Engaging Target]
Target is laying there, though evidence suggests it was previously sticking to the ceiling, marks and signs of a struggle line the walls. Survivors were here... and it seems like they were not so fortunate. Puddles of the dark substance litter the floor, caution in approaching. Target seems startled, overcome with terror, eyes staring in an almost predator like fashion; unblinking, unmoving. Its body mutated, limbs blackened with hostile sharp claws. Aggression signs minimal, however, visibly alarmed... it could lash out if we are within its proximity... dealing with violent creatures like these is never easy... slowly, but surely, I step closer, dropping my weapons with a metallic clack onto the floor. It reacts, eyes darting briefly to the sound, yet return back to me... ok... another step closer. A trill of sorts emits from them, curiosity? Caution? my eyes analyzing the posture for any sign of aggression or provocation.
Another step closer, shot fired from a distance was enough to startle it. I felt it, their weight pushing me onto the floor with a sudden thud, the terror induced screech. The surrounding agents briefly alarmed, HOLD YOUR FIRE, PREPARE TO STUN, AIMED, LEADER COMPROMISED.
They were holding back, my team and I, arms outstretched against their shoulders holding back the visibly distressed twisted creature. I can't decipher their intent... ugh... but that black substance is dripping off of them onto me. And... LIFT! Now standing upright with this thing panic squealing and screeching, their swiping and wriggling for a bit but I manage to lift them up and inject a tranquilizer into them. Tink, the sound of the injector hitting the floor, the struggling simmers, they grow limp, pulse still active... they live, good... I don't wanna be here any longer. They're heavy... still... I signal to Coldon, prepare for end mission extraction. Target is neutralized but lives. The first thing I'm gonna do when we get to home base is figure out how to keep them from slashing my face...
saw the update, I saw squirm, and they grew on me... like a lot... like close to archen and archeops levels of growing. doesn't help at all their personality is exactly what I've been fixating on lately. LET ME HOLD THEM AND HUG THEM MY LORD <3 <3 I couldn't resist the urge to draw feet, so I did.
Twisted squirm might even be a little cuter... awawawaaa

The glory of being able to draw is adding legs/feet to things that normally don't have them uvu, or my own headcannon is they're normally stuffed in that half broken cocoon they're stuck in if I were to add some lore details to their description. I imagine he can withdraw and deploy his legs when needed as a twisted form =o

The paws on both versions look amazing and I super appreciate the dirty alts. But man, I loved the text logs you added, they really add so much to these pictures and I loved how detailed it was. Really made me imagine how the entire delve was going and stuff like the tranquilization at the end, wheeew. Amazing work!

I'm always chirpy to hear of your enjoyment! And why not a filth alt? fact is I love filthy feet, the clean version I do for those that might not like it uvu
just thought of letting my story side out for a bit, if you look closely there's even a bit of lore elements from my world sprinkled in! I love adding more depth and context into my art through descriptions, hey, maybe i'll try and do that more often!! =>
Hehehe, yeah that part did definitely hit a certain chord with me for sure. Probably helps that I wasn’t exactly expecting it as well, but thinking of those four KO’d dirty feet is just way too hot.
And same I’m more into dirty feet as well, just wanted to show my appreciation for you having it!
And with the story, while I’m not super familiar with the source material I still do love how you seemed to expand on that world. Really helped get me even more into the story and I would absolutely love to see you doing more stuff like this for your other pictures!
