Everybody who knows me, knows I have a deep love for Dragon Ball~ However, I cannot say I have the same love for the fanbase.. There are legitimately people out there who're so narrow-minded & stubborn that they think characters in Dragon Ball are the be-all, end-all.. And that just isn't the case. That being said.. When this Death Battle was announced, I already knew the outcome lol. I've been a Sonic fan just as long as I've been a Dragon Ball fan, growing up with both around the same time, so I'm well-versed in the comics and games, and I have to say, it was satisfying to watch the faces of several DB-Glazers drop when they realized just how O.P characters from the Sonic franchise are.
And so! I wanted to draw one of my favorite scenes from the Death Battle~! It's not "perfect" by any means.. Especially since I've never actually drawn Metal Sonic, much less Neo, but I did my best!

I am a fan of both as well, and was actually hoping metal would win lol. I actually forgot about his copy ability, but knew he had access to chaos control. I simply thought combining that with his super would be enough lol.
Now I wonder if the death battle between Vegeta and Shadow was even accurate, especially with the modern day lore and abilities he got.

I honestly think Shadow would beat Vegeta, yeah. As it is, in the Metal V.S Cell fight, they actually lowballed Metal's speed. Cell's fast, but he's not faster than Metal, not even close. But they had to give Cell "something" because otherwise it was a complete curb stomp lol.
Hehe! I enjoy watching Death Battle because they're unbiased and just have fun. ^!^ This 1 I enjoyed too, especially when it kinda gave the Sonic characters 1 of the few wins they've had against Dragonball. Makes me wonder if some need revisiting. XD
Anyway, I think your years of drawing spikes helped pay off. Hehe! XD I wouldn't say it needs to be perfect. It's amazing! ^!^
