I realized something about when I draw one of my heavier characters, i unintentionally draw them a bit lighter then they are canonically, i think because im afraid to accidentally make caricature of a heavier person, but i realized that if im not making art with such intent, then im fine!
So here’s a drawing of walnut, my red panda otaku oc who’s on the chunkier side, drawn how he looks canonically, i made sure i took extra thought into how his clothes frame him as well
I want to accurately represent, and that includes heavier folks too!
Fun fact: walnuts favorite color is pink :) hence the color choice for this piece.
