Heya guys, this is actually a pretty special picture for me.

As long time viewers of mine will know, these two are the oldest characters I am still currently drawing. Tulip originally appeared as a side character for my Deviantart comic book "Hero to Zero".

Looking back, it was a pretty bad comic but it had some fun pages ^^

But when it comes to Tulip, the title goes beyond the feelings the Robster has for her. Words literally cannot describe how much affection I have for her as a character. I created her back in 2011 when I got some earth shattering news (note, everything turned out fine thankfully) and at that time I needed a friend I could confide in and felt my uni friends just couldn't cut it.

I dunno whether Tulip was designed at the time or not but it was then I came up with her whole personality as a loving motherly figure and my opinion of her hasn't changed. I greatly regret the period I went through when I first joined FA where she was involved in more suggestive works in her original form. And to a lesser extent I also regret the more suggestive scenarios in her anthro form.

There are some occasions when a character would cross the threshold of holding much more personal feeling than simply "character I like." She genuinely helped me in times of trouble and helped to make me feel better when I felt sad.

And it has been so nice to see that you guys have also taken to her in a similar way as I am sure she is one of my most popular characters.

Spoiler alert, she is gonna be featured in the second installment of my book series, she fits in so well ^^
