Michael Thumpings has always been a loner, but that doesn't stop him from getting out of the palace and enjoying the sunshine among the crowded parks and streets. He likes the concept of being around people, but not necessarily engaging them one-on-one or in intimate group settings where he has to converse in banal topics that hold absolutely no interest for him. Still, he likes the distant company of strangers provided they stay distant. As he goes about his day, riding his motorcycle to take in the sights of the empire that will be entrusted to him and his sister, Nina, he sometimes get catcalled and wooed by admirers. He does like the attention at times, but doesn't really know what to do about it other than to smile and dumbly wave back. If only he could get over his crippling aversion to personal encounters with others besides his family members, maybe something more could happen?
