This is an introduction to The Arcaverse - a setting inhabited by all your favorite retro games! Or at least, stand-ins for all your favorite retro games. This started off as a just-for-fun world building project where I challenged myself to make a setting inspired by Smash Bros. You know, a ton of characters from a bunch of different franchises living all in one setting and interacting with each other. I eventually decided to just make it it's own thing, but with clear and loving tributes filling in for the franchises. That, and it makes it easier to not be so bogged down with continuities I might not be as familiar with.

This is also the setting where Pixel and Spectra come from. They have their own methods of leaving the Arcaverse at will, so you can expect them to enjoy time out of the computer whenever they get the chance.
