Asteria is the supreme guardian of Crystal Realm, a planet floating at the very edge of the known galaxy. Her scales have a deep obsidian hue that absorbs light, but her most distinctive feature is her crystalline wings.
They are not made of flesh and feathers; they are living geometric layers of “stellar ice” that shimmer with all the colors of the northern lights. When Asteria is in the shadows, her wings are transparent, but in the heat of battle they flare with neon light, reflecting the magical energy of the cosmos. Her armor is forged from fallen meteorites and inlaid with resonating crystals that allow her to manipulate gravity.
