While browsing through Pinterest I came across a few references of a detective in a trench coat with a gun and felt like doing some Ace Hart related with it. I've been meaning to draw Ace regardless so this felt like the perfect opportunity. I also took inspiration from the Dick Tracy comics for the layout, trying to make it look convincing enough that this series would continue in the form of a graphic novel.

That would be awesome, maybe even include his mentor and father figure, Sam, too. It was a shame their... partnership only lasted for one episode. It would be really interesting to see a version of how they met, how they grew apart, etc. Just a wishful thought...
It would be nice if that show didn't get enough recognition, nor back then... which is a shame, it was pretty good and fresh, with a relatively unique idea.
I really liked the bits and bickering parts between him and Eliot, too. It is a shame it ended so soon, and no one picked it up...
