My brain isn't working well today. The past few weeks at work have left me drained, so… no creature design this time. Instead of that, I've decided to post an old, OLD character of mine.
Themaios the Golden. He is an Ancient Gold Dragon who, due to his vast amounts of magical energy, was able to exceed the natural lifespan of most True Dragons. While the average dragon can live between 250 and 300 years, Themaios managed to go past a staggering 1300 years.
Like all reptiles, True Dragons continuously grow throughout their lives. Themaios is 60 meters long from nose tip to tail tip and around 17 meters tall when he stands upright. He is a true giant among giants.
He has a proud and boastful nature. And for good reason. He is, by far, the single most powerful non-divine dragon alive on the World of Eoros. Only the gods possess more raw power than he does. One of his all-time most impressive feats was saving a coastal city from a volcanic eruption… by blowing up the upper half of said volcano and redirecting the lava flow away from the city (it was all a matter of blasting it at just the right angle),
At present, he is preoccupied with raising his one and only son, Svarog, whom he fathered by means of an ancient ritual involving prayers to the "God of All Dragons".
...
Also, his name was based on one of the dragons featured in one of the Yu-Gi-Oh anime story arcs (Waking the Dragons)... I was, like, 14-15 when I watched that (German dub, btw), and I just REALLY liked the name, but had no idea how to spell it, so I "improvised".
