So episode 8 was amazing and pretty intense, so I decided to draw Pomni as a Spinda to deal with the angst. Poor Spomni will be late for the tea party now.

Now you may wonder why a Spinda instead of Mime Jr. Or Popplio? Well, for starters, I've recently caught a Spinda in my Ultra Moon Nuzlocke. I wasn't sure of how useful she was gonna be, but turns out she was perfect for the battles ahead, and I ended up really liking Spinda as a result.
There's also the fact that we canonically know that the appearance of each character in the digital circus is tied to their view of themselves. their wishes, their self-loathing, and everything that makes them unique. As such, the idea of Pomni being a Spinda, a Pokémon that people see as ditzy and unreliable, just like how people interpreted Pomni's character in episode 1(a ball of nerves and a girl-failure), felt fitting. Plus, imagining a Spinda insulting caine its so funny to me.
