DiamondBack is a sandwing rainwing hybrid (3/4 sandwing 1/4 rainwing)
he was born with an underdeveloped tail barb, and over the years shed ended up getting suck on it, resulting in a rattle.
He does have rainwing venom, and a small amount of ability to change the colors of his scales, but only on the areas with diamond patterns.

He sells little trinkets he makes himself in the Scorpion's Den. Very friendly, and well liked despite his 'deformities' (He doesn't let anyone know he's a hybrid). Once in a while someone new will come into town and try to harass him because they think he's an easy target without a tail barb, and the locals will protect him and chase the newcomers off.
The unlucky ones who try to pull that when he's alone find themselves with a face full of rainwing venom.

The trinkets they sell are mostly made of glass. Things like suncatchers, small stained glass pieces, small figurines, and cups.

His mother was a rain/sand hybrid who learned how to use the animus tunnel to go between the rain forest and sand kingdoms and taught him how to use it. For the most part he spends his time in the desert, but will occasionally retreat to the rain forest for easier food, and to get away from potential threats.
