What does one get when they take the horrific pains of radioactive mutations, the never ending evolution, and combine them with Godzilla? Shin Godzilla.

In my opinion, Shin Godzilla is the second scariest Godzilla beaten ever so slightly by Gojira 1954.

The way it moves with no purpose, with those lifeless dead eyes and charred almost volcanic like flesh is one of the most terrifying depictions of Godzilla I’ve ever seen. A true staple of how western Godzillas may get more money, but the Japanese will always prevail in the raw message and designs.

I decided to go with a more experimental style of shading, taking inspiration from more cartoon like style while trying to bend with a more realistic look of Shin Godzilla.
