Personality: Gin is the kind of person who you would expect in seeing a pirate: a lovable scumbag with lots of charisma, who laughs in the face of danger and that lives for the thrill of adventure, more than ready to face any challenge life poses in front of him with a smile full of pride. And that, actually, is his biggest problem: the hyena doesn't have even a bit of humility.
He believes to be the best of the best, an unstoppable force that no one could ever tame, and that mindset almost always puts him, and his younger brother along, in very wacky situations: isn't rare for the two to perform a heist, only to be busted because of something Gin did out of pride and will to show off, being so forced into daring escapes bordering the ridicolous. And even if the two get a laugh off of this afterwards, ending up in such situations isn't the best possible outcome.
And such a vice, in particular, goes hard in regards of his relationship with ladies: Gin is considered really attractive by women, thanks both of his appearance, but particularly for his outlaw charm, and he basks in it; he's a womanizer, someone who knows very well how to make a girl fall for him, and living and loving all the attention he gets from his fans. However, even if he enjoys the fame and love coming from it, he still hasn't found something he could consider on his level: if he would ever settle with someone, it has to be the right one, and no one has ever been beautiful of fullfilling enough for him. And in those cases, if someone isn't enough for him on a romantic level, he shifts on a more primal need for the person with him in his bedroom: hunger.
Isn't rare that ladies who had a night with Gin never see the light of day again, ending up instead in his gut, to satiate a more natural and simple need, the one for food and fullness of his belly.
Exactly to overcome this superiority complex the hyena has, to show him how he should fly lower, a rival of Gin set a challenge for him in his deathbed: Bartholomew Kemik, someone who fought the Kaikorero Brothers many times, hid his massive treasure between riddles and challenges, set up exactly for Gin; the old pirate saw potential in the hyena, and so set up all of that to openly dare his young rival, and see if, with what he put on his way, Gin could become a better version of himself.
Prideful as he is, the older brother of Fuefuki accepted the challenge, determined to prove he's better than his deceased rival.

Abilities: Gin has on his side the mastery of the sword: he's a very skilled fencer, able to withstand the skills of trained soldiers from both Breata and the Caelestis Empire, who uselessly tried to catch him; expert tactician, he's not new to use dirty tricks, plus the conformation of the battlefield, to gain advantage, going for a hit and run approach with opponents who are clearly stronger than him, wearing them down until he can safely strike.
His most dangerous weapon, anyway, isn't his sword, but instead his tongue: extremely capable with words, the hyena is a great swindler, able to confuse with his rethoric whoever stands in front of him, and to turn upside down the perspective of his interlocutors, getting so on in the escapes needed to ensure freedom for himself and his brother.
Magic is not his strenght, that's mostly Fuefuki's branch, but a little trick Gin learned is about creating small flames with the snap of his fingers, that he usually uses to lit up campfires, or to start fires if the two hyenas need one as distraction for their runaways.
