It's been a while since I've posted a personal watercolour work! I tend to mainly draw sketches these days, and I'd like to make more coloured illustrations if I can.
I've been wanting to paint an African Wild Dog for quite some time, they are gorgeous animals and quite underappreciated too! This one is whiter than most, it was based on a photo of an individual with especially unique markings I saw some time ago. The bow is based on some examples from the area of the Gulf of Guinea, but finding information on African weaponry online is insanely hard!
