There’s a curious legend about ancient people who used to draw animals in profile, and when they drew a goat, only one horn would be visible. Those who saw these drawings later believed they depicted a one-horned creature, which they then called a unicorn.
The first person who encountered this deer was struck by its unusual appearance and the feathers growing across its body like fur. On its head, it bore a single branching antler. With the changing seasons, both antlers grew back, but the nickname remained.
For many years, no one could catch this swift-footed deer to prove it was real… but it seems this werewolf has almost managed to do just that!
