"The original SVI livery came to fruition from leftover and repurposed paint schemes from the utility military vehicles left in the Santiago Valley back in the 1950s.

Before being repurposed for Saurian study, the area was originally designated as an artillery and naval cannon testing range in the early 20th Century. Once a thorough clearing effort was done for the area's reconstruction, there was a small fleet of light and heavy-duty vehicles left over for new assignment from the US Army Corps of Engineers.

Once SVI was made public, the design was kept."
