Calypso, the Guardian Of The Sea
"Doors are kept closed for a reason. Either to keep people out... Or to keep something else in."
-Calypso
Recently adopted creature! The original artist was https://www.furaffinity.net/gallery/kiskka/ . I saw her in a Discord chat and I felt compelled to take command of an unpopular monstie and give her a role in my setting :D
Calypso's one of the very few dragons that did not flee Tempestarii during the Age Of Strife (a period where dragonslayers attacked the god-like dragons and drove them off the planet, but not before they hit the different regions with devastating Cataclysms.) For hundreds of years, she slept at the bottom of the seas that surrounded the Archipelagos east of the Highlands. Those waters are forever shrouded by an anomalous fog that causes temporal anomalies, letting one encounter ships, people and events that have or have yet to pass.
Recently, Calypso has reawakened, but kept her existence quiet for the time being, and relying on her followers to bring her news of the surface, and how much had changed after so many years.
