Centuries ago, one of Jackie’s ancestors had stolen from the wrong people, and as punishment their family was cursed so that every few generations, one member of their family would be cursed to become a haunting presence every harvest season. Fast forward to the present, and Jackie has somehow worsened things by having several other curses added onto her from the trouble she’s caused. It’s not that she’s an evil person, she just happens to find herself in the wrong place at the wrong time… sometimes with someone else’s belongings. Thankfully, she’s learned to make the most of it, and doesn’t stay in one place for very long, though for some reason, she keeps finding her way to Loonsbrook every so often, as if some strange force keeps pulling her there.
