So I went over to a friends house to play Digimon story: time stranger, we took turns holding the controller, and my time playing the game lead to….. this! Some art of Renamon and Demidevimon.



Digimon has always been an IP i’ve been curious about. And its been super fun! Trust me, if you’re someone who loves the pokémon gameplay but is enough of a bootlicker to buy legends ZA day one, digimon story time stranger is a much better investment

He got it on sale, but still. Price is insane. I think the game would have been much more popular if it’s default price was lower.



Graphically blows Pokémon out of the water and i love the evolution mechanics, tho I wish it was more based on how you treated your digimon rather than just stats. Which I think is how the og digivices used to work. Would LOVE to own a digivice. Are they still making them?



We named out protagonist “Tray” even tho thats how you spell the object and not the name—that’s the joke. We characterize him as a clueless idiot who means well at the end of the day despite not knowing whats happening. Tray Yuki. My man. Oh he also wears the idolmaster skin because one of our friends loves to play idolmaster, and its funny for this guy to have a cute anime girl on his shirt while the events of the game unfold.



We named one of the digimon “Keurig” named after the coffee, only to find out that they Digivolve into Renamon. Sooooo I got the mental image of Renamon trying to sell you Keurig. Oh, we also named our Demidevimon “IKEA” lol.



We’re trying to get a wargreymon, too. That’s one of my favourite digimon. Mainly because I have a wargreymon helmet on my xbox live avatar XD BUT THEY HAVE A COOL DESIGN!!!



Only played it a little bit and I vastly prefer it over Pokémon. Still, PMD holds much more of a soft spot for me.
