This is one of a number of alien species I’ll create for a theological sci-fi with the working title ”Mythopoeia”. These goofy duck-mantises are based on the first fully evolved player species I built in ”Spore”, being social herbivores with a religious civilization of Shamans. There’s still a lot I need to figure out about my species and the Mythopoeia setting but I will establish them as (one of) the nice guys having a combination of christian-inspired philosophy and strange alien psychology: They’re fruit-eating herd animals guided by the God KylKorin Man’trill to reflect and represent deis character and presence in the multiverse.
